This directory contains information relating to MIDI on PDP-11s.

dl11.txt	Pinout of 40-pin Berg connector on DL11, use with dlmidi.txt.

dlmidi.txt	Schematic of MIDI adapter for DL11 ports (M7800xx boards).

midi.mac	DL11 MIDI driver and demo.

thmfit.mac	Very incomplete program that was eventually supposed to fit
		a second voice against a given theme, obeying the rules of
		Palestrinian counterpoint.  It has a long way to go, I was
		just proud of myself for managing to incorporate PDP-11 hacking
		and trivial hardware design into a senior project for a B.A.
		in Music at a liberal arts college.  Even *they* couldn't stop
		me from being a geek!  Anyway this program can optionally play
		its output on the synth.
