Is it just me, or was it stupid to call a tape image in BIN format, instead of RIM? The tapes themselves are perfectly valid in RIM or BIN format. I have disassembled dec-8e-xbina-a-pb and edited it to create dec-8e-xbina-a-pa. I added an origin at 0200 so that the binaries would match, except the checksum, because the cross assembler currently doesn't set 0100 on the checksum. I also modified the dec-8e-xbina-a-pa to form dec-8e-xbina-b-pa, similarly matched except for the 0100 bit on the checksum. Vince
