I have reconstructed the source code from maindec-08-dhtda-a-d.pdf, sans
comments.  This matches with the maindec-08-dhtda-a-pb1 binary and also
exactly matches the diag-games-kermit binary, dhtdab.sv.

I also don't know why the binaries aren't different for the different
versions.
