The .pal file was keyed from the listing documentation listed as follow: 1. IDENTIFICATION 1.1 Maindec 801-3A 1.2 PDP-8 Instruction Test (EAE Type 182)--PART 3A 1.3 July 19, 1965 No effort was made to match the original spacing on the listing because there was no consistency with displayed tab stops. It was clear that Tabs were used but the output of the assembler didn't match the original intent. The goal was to provide a pal program that generates exactly the bin format of the tape. This goal has been met when assembled with palbart. There were originally two source tapes. I commented out the pause and combined them. There were also a number of anomolies in the listing. * Characters at the beginnings of lines blanked out. * A section of code out of order. * Wrong characters displayed. Comments prefaced by /DPI indicate where these took place. The date on the label of the captured tape was 9/1/65 which could be a newer version. Doug Ingraham, June 19, 2016
