This subroutine may be called to write a string of characters,
a pair of characters, or a single character on a 34D Oscil-
loscope. Twenty-six alphabetic characters and 0-9 numeric
characters are acceptable. However, there is space available
to include any symbol the user desires. The program is operated
in a fashion similar to the DEC Teletype Output Package
(Digital 8-19-U).
