PTOD8 (PTT Trace and Octal On-Line Debugging Program

for the PDP-8), is a means to debug a running user's program.

It features: register examination and modification, multiple

breakpoints (traps), memory protection of a chosen block,

word search (masked or not masked), tracing a running

users program (gives a full printout of consequently executed

instructions), is interrupt proof, and also features binary

tape punching (automatic leader-trailer code and checksum).
