TRACE resides in field l and operates in an interpretive fashion
on programs in field 0. It combines many of the features of
PALEX (DECUS NO. 5/S-55) and DDT as well as handling
instructions to the floating point interpreter. Provisions are
made for examining and modifying single word and also
floating point entries. Locations and single word entries may
be given symbolically or in octal form. TRACE gives a com-
plete record of any desired portion of the user's program and
wi 11 simulate the entire program including IOT's.
