MACRO-8X is an improved and expanded version of MACRO-8.
It is also a two-pass MACRO assembler which runs on any 8K
(or larger) PDP-8 family computer eguipped with a high
speed reader punch. Its enhancements include a large symbol
table, improved literal and off-page link processing, paginated
output, a formatted memory allocation table, and a number
of pseudo-operations, including VFD (variable field definitions),
BANK, LIST UNLIST, LIT, LITBAS, LGM and
NOLGM.
