Abstract: This FORTRAN callable subroutine performs 27 bit floating

point multiplication using the 24 bit KE 8/I or KE 8/E EAE option.

Execution time has been substantially reduced in comparison with the

software. version included in LIB8.RL. Core space, however, has been

sacrificed for this additional speed.

Restrictions: This routine is longer than the LIB8.RL version
