FOCAL Generates Binary Patches
FOCAL8-206

Thomas J. Ford, White Mountains Regional High School,
Whitefield, New Hampshire

The educational uses of a minimum 4K system dedicated to
FOCAL needs a convenient way to punch binary format tape,
especially if this is usually in the form of short patches from
well documented machine language listings. This program
makes use of the convenient special options of FOCAL 5/69
(DECUS NO. FOCAL8-52a) to format and punch leader, trailer,
origin and instruction codes, as well as a checksum using the
ASR punch.
