Seismic Refraction Sloping Layer Program
FOCAL8-23

David D. Prentiss, AtIantic Oceanographic Laboratory,
Bedford Institute, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

This program, developed for a PDP-8 4K machine, requires
the full library of functions. It calculates a seismic refraction
model using the slope-intercept method of M. Ewing, G. P.
Woollard and A. C. Vine proposed in 1939 and the notation
of J. I. Ewing's article on marine seismic refraction and re-
flective methods appearing in Volume III of "The Sea."
