Abstract: This program allows the display of the Phi Phenomenon;

producing apparent motion from two stationary stimulus dots. It is a

simple, easily modified display program using FOCAL on a PDP-8/e

equipped with 4K memory, a VC8/E display controller, and a display

oscilloscope. The program provides for easy modification of time, direction,

and distance parameters to study their contributions to the effect.
