Abstract: This 34 word patch provides a 25-35% reduction in FOCAL's

multiply time with a PDP-8/E, F, or M computer. Use is made of

the MQ register. The patch is 8 words shorter than the original code and

works with FOCAL '69 or FOCAL '71 and presumably most other

versions as well.
