The Collection of Test Equipment

Here are some random pieces of test equipment that I've collected over the years. Generally, the reason a particular piece was added into the collection is because it "looks cool". I also have some test equipment for sale.

The HP-3440A Digital Volt Meter

S M L XL This Hewlett-Packard HP-3440A was received as a birthday present from my neighbour in January 2003. It's a digital voltmeter, and unfortunately does not appear to be in working condition. The nixie tubes light up, but multiple segments are on simultaneously.

The GR-1683 R/L/C Bridge

S M L XL This General Radio Resistance/Inductance/Capacitance bridge was purchased at the local Computer Recyclers in Ottawa in January 2003. It is an automated tester that measures resistance, inductance, and capacitance of electronic components.

The Marconi 2955B Radio Communications Test Set

S M L XL This Marconi 2955B Radio Communications Test Set was purchased at the government auction in Ottawa September, 2006. It is way cool.
